What extracurricular’s do you participate in?
I’m in tennis, golf, and orchestra
How did you get started playing the violin?
I really liked the way the orchestra sounded when we got to join the orchestra in 5th
grade, so that’s why I chose it.
When did you start doing sports?
I started tennis in 5th grade and this is my 2nd year playing golf on a team, but I played
it off and on in middle school.
How long have you been playing the violin for?
This is my 6th year
What is your favorite extracurricular outside of school?
Outside of school, I’d say golf because its a good way to get things off your mind
Are you involved in any clubs?
Yeah, I do FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
How does your involvement in school affect your personal life?
I would say a lot of times it’s hard to get everything done or do the best that you can at
everything, but just taking time to evenly do it all is good
How do you balance sports and music?
I try to do my best by giving them an equal amount of attention. But a lot of times, that’s
tricky just because you have time limited.
What made you get involved in school in the way that you are?
I’m involved in a lot of ways because I really enjoy playing my sports or my instrument,
but I’ve also made a lot of friends along the way.
How does your involvement affect your grades?
Sometimes it’s hard to prepare for tests and projects and stuff like that. But just trying to
use my time wisely is what helps me do it.
