The Bagpiper, Floyd Central High School’s student newspaper, has launched its 2024 – 2025 advertising campaign! Growing our newspaper readership is made possible through the generosity of local businesses like yours, and we greatly appreciate your past and future support. Our publication receives limited federal and school funds; we are supported primarily through business ads and sponsorships. Our goal this year is to raise enough revenue through display advertising in our printed newspaper and our web/social media presence so as to keep the cost of the newspaper free for our readers as well as to fundraise for our annual Journalism Education Association trip to Seattle, WA. 

This year, we will publish 8 print issues, with a minimum of 2,000 copies in circulation to our students and staff at FCHS. We are also launching a new redesigned website this year in addition to our growing social media presence on Instagram and Facebook, offering more opportunities to show your business’ support to a wider audience online.
